Large buildings.
Short-term hires.

Empty warehouses, department stores and offices.

There is no upper size limit for an initial conversation. OFFSHOOT specialises in finding practical commercial uses for large and awkward vacant assets.

Discuss your building

Start with the usable space.

An entire building need not suit every hire. We assess which floors, bays or areas could work, and how access, services and occupied parts would be managed. Any proposed use remains subject to safety and permissions.

Work with what is there.

Large open areas can suit production activity; distinctive interiors can offer filming or photography potential. Prominent retail space may suit brand activations. Demand and suitability determine the approach.

Keep the next move in view.

We look for at least three months of availability. A future sale, letting or redevelopment stays central to the plan, with notice, access and handback agreed before occupation.

What owners
ask us.

Can you consider a whole department store?

Yes. Our team’s experience through Interim Spaces spans shops, entire department stores and large warehouses. We assess the practical scope for each asset rather than setting a maximum floor area.

What if the building is in poor condition?

We consider it for assessment. Any activity must be safe and practical; surveys, preparation, restrictions and costs are considered before an agreement.

What should I send first?

An address or postcode, approximate floor area, current condition and available dates. Existing particulars or photographs can follow by email. You do not need to create a formal listing to start a conversation.
